More: Katie is a rescue. When I went to humane society to look for a pet she was the last one I looked at. They brought her out from the back because she had just had surgery days before removing her right back leg. She had been found injured. Katie fell right into my arms and it was love at first sight! That was 6 years ago. She loves to “talk”. And she is a barker, demanding attention from neighbors when we walk in the neighborhood. 😂
