More: Keiko was a rescue from a Missouri puppy mill and I adopted him in 2019. Shortly after that I was walking him, tripped and he broke away from me. He was missing for two days and after searching for him, I found him in a heavily wooded area in the rain caught up in bushes. He is one special pup. In May 2021 he had luxated patella surgery due to severe lip from birth. He has recovered nicely and is in water therapy to build muscle and strength. Keiko loves to run in the backyard, cuddling and hoarding toys. I rescued him but he rescued me too!
