More: King was a long-timer at the local pound where he probably would have been put to sleep. He was afraid of everyone and everything, wouldn't let us touch him. Not very adoptable. So of course, we adopted him! He is our best friend! He's slowly coming around and not so afraid of everything now, still learning that humans are not scary and won't hurt him. But he's a great dog!
