More: King was adopted in January of 2011. He had been living in a cage for 9 months and was labeled “special needs”. In reality, he needed to become my running mate and we ran together for several years. Best and sweetest dog ever! We adopted Athena in 2020 to help us handle the inevitable loss on the horizon with a senior family dog. Athena and King are wonderful together!
