More: Lacey is our companion and entertainer. She was what kept us DSA e through Covid lockdowns. She loves rides and deer hunting in the state park near us, retrieving, ice cream and people. We were a registered pet therapy team volunteering in the hospital, nursing homes, school (4th grade classes), and greeting kids and adults at church until she was diagnosed with Addisons disease and hypothyroidism and needed her rabies vaccine to continue. But with the vet’s recommendation and my own feeling, we did not proceed hoping to protect her from further autoimmunity problems. But she still makes people smile and laugh because we take her with us everywhere we can. She is one awesome doodle!!
