More: Lacey is one truly sweet girl who loves people and loves to have her picture taken. She’s obedient and is friendly to everyone. My husband and I didn’t want another dog after our lab died at 15 1/2 yrs old in 1998 having had her since 8 wks old. We were so devastated! He was resistant to getting another dog when I showed him pictures of labradoodles and goldendoodles around 14 1/2 yrs ago but I finally convinced him we needed a dog and he agreed it could be a labradoodle, having had labs. Having dreamed of getting one, I already knew where some different litters were, so it took me no time to find 5 wk old Lacey knowing I had to hurry before he might change his mind. Well, not long after we brought her home at 8 wks, he and Lacey surprisingly bonded and she thinks he is her master. They adore each other so I had to adjust to being 2nd fiddle, but even so, she is so loving to both of us, and I’m so happy she is in my life!!! We know we are so blessed to have her and enjoy her every day!
