More: We adopted Lacy from a rescue I used to volunteer at. Any time I thought about owning a dog, I pondered all the breeds I potentially wanted to own. I decided time and time again I just wanted one I connected with, and boy, did I get just that. I learned about pitbull mixes, fell in love with the breed, and decided to volunteer at a rescue that takes in the "bully" breeds. It was then that we were introduced to Lacy. She's my best friend and loves truck rides to the adventures we go on. We're so blessed to have her!
