More: Lance (Flying Lance B) is a retired racing greyhound who raced until he was almost 4 years old. After he retired from racing he was certified as a Therapy Dog and earned an AKC Therapy Dog title. In December 2016 Lance was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma and had his right hind leg amputated. Becoming a tripod hasn’t slowed him down and he still loves to race around the yard and bring smiles to children battling cancer at a local summer camp. He will celebrate 4 years post amputation and 3.5 years cancer free in December.
