More: Thanks to Layla our family learned to love dogs again after our then 2 year old was attacked by a dog and needed surgery to repair her face. Needless to say we were in no hurry to get a dog until that same child saw this rescue pup at an adoption event. Our daughter went from being terrified of all dogs to an instant attraction to Layla. She is patient, gentle, smarter then any dog I’ve met, and naturally knew that her person was our daughter. She is an amazing animal and captures the hearts of all who meet her.
