More: Lifter is a country dog through and through. He has a fiercely independent and adventurous spirit. It’s not uncommon to find him miles from home, grinning with his ears flopping in the wind as he sprints across old dirt roads. He is known for chasing squirrels and groundhogs up trees. He’s a good hunter and sweet boy, who take his time deciding if the humans he meets are worthy of his trust and love.
