“Lilliputian” aka “Lili-girl” and “Lili” , “Lil” , “Miss Lil”

More: Named after Jonathan Swift's characters; "Lilliputian" lives up to his description in his novel Gullivar's Travels. At just over 9 pounds she displays abilities of dogs ten times her size. She is deidicated and successul in keeping our backyard organic garden free of all natural thieves from Spring to Fall. Lili has for years (up until Covid-19) been a regular vistor to nursing homes and support groups and displays warm and love to all she visits. Don't let those short legs fool you as she is our companion in the field flushing game as well as hiking with us each month. Just last Sunday she hiked with us on the 10 mike trek along the Fire Island National Seashore and has done similar hike all her life. Miss Lil loves her family and knows when one of us is wearing an Orvis pullover which she will make herself at home burrowing underneath it to snuggle and share body heat once your sitting down, regardless if you are reading or using a laptop..She wants in. When she goes out of the house it never without her Orvis collar with her name and telephone number afterall she is a hound, she is an Orvis dog.
