More: When Lilly had cancer, she underwent a month of daily radiation treatments. Instead of worry about the effects of anesthesia, I walked in a botanical garden and every day took a photo of a flower and put it inside a journal I titled, "Radiation, A Floral Treasure Hunt". When Lilly made is against all odds, I created this photo to commemorate her victory. And also to remind myself that if you look hard enough, you can always find beauty in the darkest situation.
