More: Loki Sandstorm has been kicking up a storm since he came home from the Eastern Shore of Maryland three years ago. Bred from hunting stock, Loki’s broad stature gives him the stamina and stability every hunting dog needs. Of course, Loki mostly hunts stuffed ducks. He epitomizes the Standard Poodle adage “The attitude of a clown, an Einstein brain, and the pure heart of an angel.” Loki’s attitude, brain, and heart shape his work as a certified Maryland Pets on Wheels Therapy dog. His “stations” are the local E911 call center and the St. Mary’s County Hospice House. He also holds multiple titles, including Canine Good Citizen and Intermediate Trick Dog, and he knows more than 50 tricks, including melting the hearts of young and old alike.
