More: Lt.Dan and Cassidy are both rescues! Lt. Dan got his name because he almost lost his left leg due to injury. His rescuers were able to save and rehabilitate him and we adopted him in 2013. Cassidy came from a puppy mill in Kentucky with her sister, she's part Great Dane, and just 2 years old. Both dogs love our cats, hiking, car rides, playing in the yard, at the cabin and sleeping with their Dad. They're amazing companions.
