More: Lucca is a rescue and I have had him 10 years. He is my soul dog. He is diabetic and requires insulin 2x a day and has a degenerative eye disease that is slowly taking his vision despite 2 surgeries. He is such an incredible dog who has gotten me through much. Even though I rescued him, he really saved me.
