I decided to meet her at a park and see if we had a connection. I saw her in the distance playing with a ball. Not a word was said. She saw me and at full speed ran towards me. Lucy literally stopped in front of me, raised herself up on her hind legs, wrapped her front legs around my waist and placed her head against me. I was in tears.
