More: Lucy is a great upland bird dog and lives to please my husband and hunt grouse and woodcock. We call her Nurse Lucy these past 2 years as my husband has been home in severe chronic spinal pain and she rarely leaves his side. Only when I get her harness does she leave him for a walk down a forest path with me.
