More: Lucy is a Louisiana Flood dog rescue. What we have learned recently is she was released or escaped before hurricane came through. What likely no one knew was she was pregnant and would have the puppies in her own in a swamp. We learned this as on Mother’s Day 2019 we got an email off out DNA test - it was one of her puppies living in CT. Lucy is the sweetest dog. Loves, loves, LOVES humans. She helps us rehab the foster dogs we foster and turns them into great, adoptable dogs. She also helps socialize the future assistance dogs were also help raise. We love Lucy.
