More: Lucy was tied to a tree for the first 4-5 months of her life, with no human interaction. She was rescued by a canine rescue group in Columbus, OH, and I was picked as the lucky one to be her "person". From being afraid to go on a walk and afraid of everything that moved, to becoming a disc dog and frisbee champion, she has hands down been the best dog I've ever had. She loves to fetch frisbees and fetch more frisbees. She's a wonderful hiking companion, and has accompanied me on road trips to Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, New York and Washington DC.
