More: Luke is a spirited beagle/fox hound rescue with lots of energy, a great personality, and a commanding howl for a 39 pounder! He was sent to our lives after the death of my mother, and he truly is an Angel dog. I didn’t think I would become a “dog parent,” but he has gotten me wrapped around his little paw. My daughter met him at a friend’s house who was fostering Luke and she convinced us that he needed to become part of our pack. We like to tell her that she rescued him! He came from Virginia, with scars on his neck from the mistreatment there. We always remind him that he is safe and sound with us! We love our Lukey!
