More: One early morning in 2012 my husband and I were traveling down a busy country hwy and saw a black dog running along the road darting back and forth. We pulled over and coaxed her in our van. Thinking she had just gotten loose from some nearby house, we tried to find her pet parent through local contacts and social media. We discovered she had a chip implanted and was adopted out from a shelter that was some 80 miles away. To no avail the shelter could not contact that person. To our great fortune we came upon this sweet girl that day and she became apart of our family. She loves her time on the beaches of the Mississppi River playing endless frisbee!
