More: I may be a doodle, but that doesn’t mean I’m not tough. Mac is short for McDonough, my maiden name and my dad’s (who passed away 3 yrs ago) nickname. It’s also convenient that it is the name of our new Patriots quarterback. My husband and I had our first cocker spaniel poodle mix 17 years ago. He was hit by a car the first day in our new home. We were devastated and my husband would only agree to getting another dog if it was this same Cockaspaniel poodle mix. So here we are, 10 years later, three boys and a male cockapoo.
