More: We named Mackinac after one of our favorite places in northern Michigan, Mackinac Island, where we got engaged. Mackinac is a ball of energy and is always up for an outdoor adventure. She loves to hike, camp, canoe, and swim! We try to visit Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore as often as we can and have included Mackinac in our trips.
