More: Maddie was our baby girl. I adopted her from a shelter in 2010 and she forever changed my life. A couple of years after adopting her, I started dating my now husband, and she because the apple of his eye. Unfortunately she developed several mass cell tumors. After a few surgerys and chemo, we lost the battle of cancer in November 2020. While she is no longer with us, she will never be forgotten. She loved swimming with us, whether in the pool or at Lake Mead with my family. She was always up for an adventure!
