More: Maddie loved the water. She would swim across Dale Hollow Lake chasing waverunners thinking it was our kids. Maddie was a gentle soul and very good with our grandsons. We were blessed to have Maddie and her sister littermate, Layla, for many years. Maddie was very playful and love to play tug-of-war especially with her sister Layla dragging her across the wood floor. This photo was taken riding in our boat with our grandson Hudson, on Dale Hollow Lake July 4, 2012. Maddie crossed over the rainbow bridge at the age of 14, we miss her very much. We now have our third golden retriever. Goldens are wonderful patient loving souls. Thank you for the opportunity to share our joy and love for Maddie
