More: Marcus was adopted from a local shelter at 5 months of age. 5 months later I found a lump on his right front which was diagnosed as a fibrosarcoma, a malignant tumor. Amputation gave him the best chance for sure and his leg was amputated when he was 14 months old. He has not let this slow him down - he especially enjoyed all the snow storms this past winter.
