More: .Mason is a rescue. When we got him, he had been rescued from a high kill pound in Tennessee. He had been kept in a box with one air hole and no water or food for days since he was to be put down soon. He was weak and dehydrated. When we got him, he had trouble walking. Couldn't run. But in time and care he grew strong and healthy. He is my best bud. Sweet, protective. Playful and curious.
