More: We lost 2 dogs to disease in the Summer of 2018. Thought we would try life without a dog for a while . That experiment didnt last very long, and we ended up getting Maui from a local breeder that had 12 pups . Maui was the pup who was lying in the food bowl as all the others were trying to eat. Maui is a kind loving dog who is great with children and an awesome retreiver. I cant imagine life without him .
