More: Max was a rescue from Best Friends animal sanctuary in Utah. I met him while touring the amazing sanctuary and when his hazel eyes met mine I was hooked. I did not go there to get a dog but I knew and he knew we were meant to be together. They brought him out to “visit” the tour group and out of 20 people he came to me! Got him a plane ticket and he is my heart and soul!
