More: Max is a rescue dog who was relinquished to a shelter right at the start of the Covid pandemic. He was there for a week before the shelter closed to the public. He was terrified and was not doing well there so the shelter reached out to me to take.him as a foster. After two weeks I adopted him. He is the seeing eye dog to my blind dog and has gotten so confident in himself. I cannot imagine my world without him.
