More: Max was a stray puppy that found us. He had no hair, was starving and in bad shape. After a little loving care he became the best dog we’ve ever had. He grew up with my children and was their best friend. He swam with them in the lake, and slid down the hill on his belly beside their sleds. He was like one my children too. We were so lucky to have had him in our lives.
