More: Max is a rescue from the Humane Society. When we found Max at the rescue, he wasn’t with the other dogs. He was very sick , he had kennel cough. I decided I wanted him no matter what and I nursed him back to health . When I had major surgery he never left my side. He keeps me going especially during this rough time.
