More: Max showed up on our doorstep & refused to leave. I posted a picture on Facebook & someone replied that he had been left several days before. She gave basic information, his name, breed & he was not well cared for. My husband, whose cancer is recently in remission has been wanting a dog. He is disabled and home alone often because I work 7 days a week. Max is extremely well behaved and intelligent. He dutifully protects us and watches over my husband when he’s not feeling well. He is an angel sent to care for, protect & be a companion. He gives us so much happiness. It’s true what they say-Dogs find us when we need them most.
