More: Max came to our family in April 2021 as a 1 year-old dog after being pent up inside for most of his puppyhood at his first home. For a bird hunting dog, being cooped up indoors didn’t serve Max well. When he got to our 60 acre farm outside of Santa Fe, Max got a new beginning — he got to run around outside all day, play with 2 other dogs his same age (and energy level!), and have a family who could support him. After 3.5 months of having Max, who has no shortage of personality, we are so proud of his progress and look forward to watching his confidence grow.
