More: I found Max as a 4 month old puppy in a shelter in Montana. I was instantly smitten. Although Max is approaching his end of life, I know we have had a great adventure for the last 12 years. We have hiked and camped in the mountains of Montana, played in snow deeper than him, swam in too many beautiful rivers and lakes to count, and even swam in both the Pacific Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico! Max is my best friend, and never leaves my side. ❤️
