More: I rescued this hound about a year ago and am very glad to give her the life an outdoor loving dog needs. Maya is the sweetest and most gentle dog, but at the same time has an unmatched urge to hunt. She could stay outside and chase things all day long if I let her. Inside she likes to curl up next to you, stare out the window, or play with our other dog. She also really hates getting in trouble and instantly tries to show her love when she knows she did something wrong. Like any dog, she can be a handful but I wouldn't change it.
