More: Since the day I brought Maya home I know she was going to be a challenge. She was found chained up outside at a known pitbull fighting house. The people who rescued her knew that she would be put down at the shelter because she had been trained to be so aggressive. Day by day she started trusting me more and more. I can’t imagine life without her and there’s not a day that goes by that I don’t feel grateful that we have each other. She’s my number one hiking buddy and has never met a mountain she couldn’t climb. We love her to pieces!
