More: 2020 was a tough year and Meadow had it tougher than many. She sustained a back injury tripping over her sister that left her hind legs paralyzed. A successful surgery to remove her herniated disc helped her recover use of her hind legs and she enjoyed lots of hikes as rehab. A pre-op exam also revealed several mammary tumors. Here, I took her for a hike in her favorite woods before they were removed. Meadow is a sweet shelter dog that took time to warm up but gives and loved to receive all of the hugs.
