More: Meiko was originally owned by a Marine from Butte, Montana who died from cancer. Before he passed, he asked his dear friend to be sure that Meiko found a new owner who was also a Marine. I found Meiko through an email sponsored by The Flathead Marines in Kalispell, Montana. My wife and I went down to meet Meiko and we immediately bonded with her and have had her living with us and our three Siberian Huskies since 2019.
