More: Melvin is a FEMA CE certified Human Remains Detection K9. He and I are on the Ohio Task Force 1, and are members of the Kentucky Search Dog Association. Melvin and I were recently deployed to Miami, for the Surfside Champlain Building Collapse to support the recovery efforts. We were able to locate several victims and provide closure to families. Melvin is certified in land and water human remains detection as well, and uses these skills locally in Ohio and Kentucky to support law enforcement efforts. We do a lot of training but in our downtime Melvin loves to play fetch, is an avid swimmer, and he also loves to go for a hike. Thanks for considering us for your cover!
