More: Lilly is the greatest companion someone could ask for, whether she’s retrieving a bird, trekking along side me on my mountain bike, tucked between my legs in the kayak, or just riding shotgun. So much so, that when Midas’ litter came in to the veterinary clinic in which I work, and I found out he needed a place to live, it was all but decided. I went and picked him up shortly after, and after some short adjustment from the the matriarch, Lilly, they are the best of friends. Lilly is teaching him the ropes, and Midas is keeping her young!
