More: We adopted Mika when she was only 4 weeks old. Her and her brother were at a animal rescue, and we had gotten to the adoption too late to adopt them both. We got Mika though, but you could tell she was from an abusive home. Though only a couple months old, she must have been abused pretty bad. When scolding her for going potty inside, or just doing bad puppy behavior, she would cower, shake and hide as if she was going to be hurt. I still have to tell her it’s ok or she will shake and worry. The poor girl is so friendly to everyone and every pet. She just wants to be held and told she’s a good girl. She is so smart and such a good dog, she deserves to win. She has been through a lot, and for her to still have the love for any person, she is a blessing to our family.
