More: I had a GSP growing up when I was in high school and fell in love with the breed. After working 30 years in a senior exec corporate role where having a dog was not possible, I finally got a GSP of my own. She is fun and loving and smart. Loyal. Fast and playful with every dog we pass on the trails. She is a trained bird dog but now we hike the Colorado rockies daily.
