Milo and Minnow

He aint heavy, he's my brother

More: We adopted Minnow from the local shelter. That day I met Milo's mother, Sandy. She lived an hour from me. We became close friends. She would babysit Minnow for us and Sandy would bring Milo for walks on the beach here. Three years ago Sandy found out she had stage 4 breast cancer. She has gone to live with her sister in Eugene, Oregon. She made the decision to leave Milo with us so he could be with his brother. Milo has folded right in our family.
