More: We adopted Mingo from our local animal shelter two weeks after suddenly losing our Siberian Husky, Sochi, who was also a rescue. I saw Mingo on my Face Book feed & decided I just had to meet her. She had a meet & greet scheduled with another family so I didn’t hold out much hope we’d get her. The meet and greet failed,as Mingo (then “Trixie”), didn’t like their dog. We then had to do a meet & greet with our dog, and I figured that would be the straw that broke the camel’s back . . . BUT they liked each other!! We brought her home several days later. My husband is still mad at me! (😉)
