More: When I found her, she had been living in a 3’ x 5’ concrete cell at the animal shelter in Winter Haven, Florida, where temperatures can reach 90 by 9am! We locked eyes on my first visit and I knew she was coming home to join our family which consisted of a black lab and Jack Russell Terrier. I paid a mere $30 which included her spaying, and I can honestly say, she has the best disposition of all the dogs we’ve owned. ( Which is in the double digits! ) We knew she had probably never been on a boat before, but this picture is the very first time we took her for a ride….pure happiness and joy for her new life! We love her!
