Molly

Beach girl

More: Molly first saw the beach when we went on vacation in South Carolina and she was just 10 weeks old. She loved it the minute she set “paw” in the nice warm sand. Racing up and down the beach chasing ghost crabs, running in and out of the surf or digging up shells she is definitely in her element. At the end of the day, she is covered in sand and salt and completely exhausted but smiling like the beach girl she is above! Instead of chasing a ball, she LOVES it when I throw seashells. She chases them and brings them back like a prize. She never meets a stranger at the beach and enjoys playing with dogs of all shapes, sizes and dispositions. She is a big flirt and plays hard to get but in the end will roll and wrestle in the sand. It took me 17 years of marriage before I could talk my husband into getting a dog, but I finally talked him into it on Mother’s Day 3 years ago. I woke up and said I was tired of postponing joy. Now my new mantra is “Don’t postpone joy!” and my husband has fallen in love with Molly and asks me why I didn’t talk him into getting a dog sooner! We are so lucky to have this girl in our lives to enjoy the world through her eyes. I can’t think of anyone I’d rather go to the beach with than Molly.
