More: I was working at a high kill open intake shelter in Philadelphia. She came in as a stray days away from giving birth. I originally was going to foster her until she had her puppies, but the second I brought her home I knew I could never let her go. She is everything I ever wanted in a dog. She loves everyone she meets and is always finding new ways to make me smile and laugh. Her favorite thing is to dig my blankets and then stick her booty in the air for pets. She got her name because she’s short and round like a potato (especially when she was pregnant), but soft and squishy like mash potatoes.
