More: Mona did not seem destined to have a happy story. She was a young, underweight very pregnant stray found sleeping behind a dumpster in Houston, we think a flood victim. She gave birth almost immediately. Thru FB we found all the people who found/tended to her, and got her to NY. They say she was a wonderful, loving mom. Together we celebrate her joyful, exuberant self.
