More: Saw Morty on a rescue site and couldn’t resist. We knew what a Basset was but no idea about the rest. Turns out they are hunters and the state dog of Louisiana. He’s strong , sweet, loves to run and a friend to everyone in the neighborhood. His sense of smell is incredible and sight follows right behind. He’s very adaptable and having been a bit rambunctious at first,he is a mellow fellow inside and a curious very smart outdoor guy.
